Gelvani Game Statistics

Game Statistics:

All Gelvani have the following standard abilities:

  • Medium: Gelvani are Medium creatures and have no bonuses or penalties due to their size.
  • Normal Speed: Gelvani have a base speed of 30 feet.
  • Low-Light Vision: Gelvani can see twice as far as a human in starlight, moonlight, torchlight, and similar conditions of poor illumination. They retain the ability to distinguish color and detail under these conditions.
  • Gelvani Immunities: Gelvani are immune to magic sleep effects and get a +2 racial saving throw bonus against enchantment spells and effects.
  • Keen Senses: Gelvani receive a +2 racial bonus on Perceptions skill checks.
  • Second Sight: Gelvaniā€™s have a sixth sense that allows them to sense portals and creatures on the other side of the Veil. Any gelvani who is actively looking for a creature, portal or object that is in ethereal plane receives a perception check to sense it. Any Gelvani who merely passes within 5 feet of an invisible or ethereal creature, object or portal is entitled to a Perception check to notice it as if she were actively looking for it.

Each individual Blood Line of Gelvani also have their own special abilities:

Que'Gelvani:

  • +2 Dexterity: All gelvani are lithe and graceful.
  • -2 Constitution: Though often known to be a very healthy race, Que'Gelvani have have a frail stature and little natural endurance.
  • +2 Charisma: Que'Gelvani have a natural force of persona that reflects their natural dominion over their own kind, magic, and others.
  • Weapon Familiarity: Que'Gelvani esteem the arts of swordplay and archery, and require all able men and women to train with these skills in case their civilization is ever attacked. Thus all high Que'Gelvani are familiar with these weapons. Que'Gelvani are proficient with longbows (including composite longbows), longswords, shortbows (including composite shortbows), shortswords, and treat any gelvani weapons as a martial weapon.
  • Languages: Que'Gelvani teach their youth their own language, the common language of men, and if they have the aptitude, the languages of their friends, foes. Que'Gelvani begin play speaking Verosian and Telani. Gelvani with high intelligence scores can choose from the following: Baragog, Draconic, Duervik, Glinnen, and Nallarik.

Grey'Gelvani:

  • +2 Dexterity: All gelvani are lithe and graceful.
  • -2 Constitution: Though often known to be a very healthy race, Grey'Gelvani have have a frail stature and little natural endurance.
  • +2 Intelligence: All gelvani have a long youth in which their minds develop, but unlike other gelvani, but Grey'Gelvani seem to have a greater aptitude for attaining knowledge and grow even more intelligent in this time.
  • Weapon Familiarity: Grey'Gelvani respect the arts of swordplay and archery, and require all able men and women who are not in training to become shamorans to train with these skills in case their civilization is ever attacked. Thus all Grey'Gelvani who do not begin play as a wizard is familiar with these weapons. Grey-Gelvani are proficient with shortbows (including composite shortbows), shortswords, and treat any gelvani weapons as a martial weapon.
  • Languages: Grey'Gelvani teach their youth their own language, the common language of men, and if they have the aptitude, the languages found in ancient lore. Grey'Gelvani begin play speaking Verosian and Telani. Gelvani with high intelligence scores can choose from the following: Shamor'lavorium'Telthanu, : Draconic, Duervik, Gallanik, Glinnen, Horaptic, Mageiaka, Mordrang, Nallarik, and Olgen Tongue.

Drey'Gelvani:

  • +2 Dexterity: All gelvani are lithe and graceful.
  • Weapon Familiarity: Drey'Gelvani esteem the arts of war, swordplay and archery, and train all men and women with these skills. Not only that, they are the only Gelvani known to actively seek battle, preferring to venture into bordering lands to drive out orcs and other dangerous foes before they become a threat. Thus all high Drey'Gelvani are familiar with these weapons. Drey'Gelvani are proficient with longbows (including composite longbows), longswords, spears, and treat any gelvani weapons as a martial weapon.
  • Languages: Drey'Gelvani teach their youth their own language, the common language of the duneimen, and if they have the aptitude, the languages of their foes. Drey'Gelvani begin play speaking Verosian and Telani. Drey'Gelvani with high intelligence scores can choose from the following: Baragog, Draconic, Duervik, Gallanik, Gullarik and Nallarik.

Seyl-Gelvani:

  • +2 Dexterity: All gelvani are lithe and graceful.
  • +2 Wisdom: Seyl'Gelvani are known for their patience and forethought, preferring to consider all consequences before acting.
  • -2 Constitution: Though they have a frail structure like other Gelvani, Seyl-Gelvani are strong enough that this has little effect upon their stature.
  • Weapon Familiarity: Seyl'Gelvani master the use of weapons for hunting, such as spears and archery, and train all men and women with these skills. Thus all high Seyl'Gelvani are familiar with these weapons. Seyl'Gelvani are proficient with longbows (including composite longbows), shortbows (including composite shortbows), spears, and treat any gelvani weapons as a martial weapon.
  • Languages: Seyl'Gelvani teach their youth their own language, the common language of the duneimen, and if they have the aptitude, the languages of those friends and foes they may encounter in their woodlands. Seyl'Gelvani begin play speaking Verosian and Telani. Gelvani with high intelligence scores can choose from the following: Baragog, Draconic, Gallanik, Mordrang and Nallarik.
