Straights Of Lohandar

This narrow passage connecting Vas-Draga with the Serpent Seas is believed to have once been a land-bridge between Lohar and Verosia. It is now a narrow straight with incredibly high cliff walls on both sides. The cliffs rise from one to two miles high on both sides, and though there are many shelves and deep caverns, they are, for the most part, an angle of only about ten degrees. It is said that cliff giants live amongst the caverns and hurl rocks as passing ships, both for sport and for spoil. Mariners also fear that one day whatever force sundered the land may drive it back together again, crushing whomever is in the straight at the time. The straights themselves are about five miles wide.
