The caster of Fortheos Arvan is suffused by a faint glowing aura of soft golden light. While the spell lasts, he gains the ability to quickly heal any injuries through magical regeneration driven by the use of pure positive energy. The spell channels and transmutes such energy into the very stuff of the caster’s body, healing virtually every sort of wound. In this way, 6 hit points of damage can be recovered each round. The exceptions are injuries caused by acid, and Wounding weapons. In such cases, one round is required to stem the damage caused by those wounds; following this round, healing resumes as normal.
The caster is affected normally by destroyed organs and appendages. Such injuries will hinder him with predictable results (the caster cannot see without eyes, and cannot hear without ears), but only until they are healed. Severed appendages can be completely re-grown in 3d6 minutes, but can be re-attached almost instantaneously if the caster holds it against the stump (treat the action as similar to “drawing a weapon” in terms of game time taken). Should the caster be decapitated, he will be incapable of any action until a new head is grown—but will be alive.
Material Component: A prism with a heart carved on one of its facets.

Kalthanan developed this potent combat spell to ensure his continuing health in the midst of the fiercest battles. It relies on the manipulation of pure positive energy to restore the caster’s body from even the cruelest blows and damaging effects. Like Lanyr Na’ Reahnyn, Fortheos Arvan is also used by the priesthood of the Dawn Goddess.
